On a more positive note, wanted to give a shout out to Angeliño. His attitude was excellent last night and he never stopped mopping up at the back, despite being outnumbered on several occasions.
Hope he stays, we could do a lot worse at LB.

Too much ground to make up under DDR's stewardship and a terrible schedule, playing Thursday/ Sunday meant it ws always a long shot qualifying for the CL but I'm still gutted.

Those we have must also be valorized, even the Primavera… over the years we lost Frattesi and Calafiori and that’s something I can’t stomach.”

Sounds like our new sporting director will be singing from the same song sheet.

Football Italia transfer expert Matteo Moretto has explained to Caught Offside’s Daily Briefing what the Giallorossi must expect from their new sporting director, saying that the Giallorossi transfer strategy won’t change much.
“I think Roma will look for players who can come in at an economical price, and then sell them on at a profit, or focus on players that with the potential to become stars down the line,” said Moretto.

That makes sense, we need to get out of the FFP restrictions cycle in the the near future. Tbh, it would be a relief as it seems to have been going on forever/ since 2001!

Sensi was ambitious and it paid off on the pitch but we've never got stable financailly since then unfortortunately.
On a more positive theme, congrats to Claudio Ranieri on a managerial career of true integrity.

I'm loving the respect shown to Claudio Ranieri from fans of different clubs. I'm so glad he's had a good end to his career.
This is a lovely moment too from the Roma-Leicester match a couple of years ago.
