I was kinda more thinking we'd join the Swiss or French league if they'd have us.

Some form of super league might happen eventually i guess but Juve would probably need to be a part of a domestic league to qualify.
Not mad keen on the super league but i can see some version of it occurring. UEFA's best way to stop a super league is to appoint all genuine football people to all it's head positions with normal salaries, but that won't happen so they won't win the PR exercise because they're money hungry non-football people who only give a fuck about themselves, and that's why the super league will probably eventually happen.

Any morals Ceferin bangs on about now about the super league just conjures up pot-kettle-black but he doesn't see nor give a shit that he's the problem too. He'll stay in his position until the end because he doesn't actually give a fuck about football.

The heads of UEFA and FIFA don't give a fuck about football, they only give a shit about their power, salary and having a center pitch couch, pampered to the nines, treated like kings, in a world cup in Qatar and wherever afterwards.

The last official that actually gave a shit about football was Leonard Johansson, all others since are full of shit.

Believe it or not but I've seen a lot of support for the ESL. I think they are mostly American and fans of non-English teams, but I think there is actually a market out there for it.

Model it along the lines of the Euroleague basketball league. Teams play in a straight league format in superleague but are still part of their domestic leagues as well. The difference is that somwehere around 13 teams are permanent members of the Euroleague with the other 5 qualifying by various methods.

It has to be zero permanent members, so full meritocracy, or i doubt it would wash. I would probably consider myself as someone who really wants UEFA to rot, but even i wouldn't support a super league unless it's 100% meritocracy.

I'm totally against the format of Super League that was proposed in 2021. Not only would it have been boring but it would have made the problems in football even worse, those problems being the ever reducing number of teams with the resources to actually win anything.

There needs to be some way of spreading the wealth to make European football more competitive. One way would be reducing the number of foreign players back to how it was in the 1980's, forcing more players to stay in their domestic leagues, making the teams stronger and in theory bringing more revenue. That won't happen though partly because of EU rules and partly because everyone in football is out for themselves and won't want it.

If someone from the Super League came up with a credible idea then I would listen to it, after all the new Champions League format that's coming in is terrible. I have strong doubts as to whether any Super League idea would be a good one though.

The club should wiretap the prosecutor to see who he's really working for, and if that shows nothing then do as he does and edit it out of context.
