Great game for the neutral. One question- Why is Danilo starting over Gatti?

It's probably a combination of Bremer injured, squad rotation, Gatti not being undroppable and trying to get Danilo back in form.
Danilo has reached a higher level than Gatti in the past, he's just on shit form and playing out of position, plus his confidence is probably low because he was effectively told he wasn't wanted anymore before Bremer got injured. If the club get another central defender in January and Danilo doesn't get his full back position again then he'll probably move. He'd be an excellent addition to any team that needs a right back if he finds his form, we'll be strenghtening a rival, much in the same way Kalulu has been good for Juve.

Goals, goals goal, goals made for a great spectacle and both sets of fans were very vocal so the atmosphere was at boiling point for the 90 mins plus. I really enjoyed that! (Now I feel dirty & ashamed).

I think another reason Danilo has been starting is that Motta probably wants his leadership in the backline now Bremer is injured. I think in Motta's system Danilo is going to have to be a backup though as he's either been a full back or one of the wider centre backs in a back 3 before, not centre back in a 4.

Gatti is better than Danilo right now.

I missed Parma's first goal. Who's culprit this time?

That's an excellent header from McKennie.

Danilo will get blamed for Parma's second but the whole defensive unit is a mess, Locatelli should've been tracking Sohm for instance. It's a mess.

At least the players looked angry walking off at halftime. If it was last season they'd look indifferent.

Like the Inter game, very open but poor defending. Need to win the home games but at least it's easier watching than last season.

I didn't see the game but it's a disappointing result and the highlights showed the defensive frailties without Bremer.

I really rate Bremer, when's he due back from injury? :dunno:

Thuram :goalflash:

That was basically 20 minutes of playing keepball kicking it around at the back, seemingly looking for a game with minimum incidents.

It's felt quite comfortable, it was very good play from Thuram for the first and a nice controlled finish from Savona for the second.

The 2nd half was not as good and they caused some problems on set pieces because of their height, but it was nice to get a fairly efficient win after a couple of draws, and a clean sheet.

It was all about the win and cleansheet away to a team that has won all but one of their home games. Still a lot of work to do on all fronts though.

Cabal needs to go through that right winger. Take a yellow, a borderline red. That's what I'd be telling him at half time. Can't have a lad like that taking the piss.

We've been good. Don't deserve to be behind.
