Rabiot ghosting the club like he's 10 years old and Guintoli leaving out the cap in hand like a desperate sap. Guintoli has done well enough so far but this episode makes him look like an idiot. He's let Rabiot act like he's bigger than the club. If Rabiot is bigger than the club then we're fucked!

I'm happy to move on from Rabiot. He had one great season and was a disappointment most of the rest of the time. I never sensed he was fully committed to the club, as shown by him only signing a 1 year extension last summer.

Glad to see the back of Rabiot, tbh. He's one of those players who thinks he's better than he is because he's a pampered Mama's boy.

Good to see Conte standing up for his Juve legacy against dipshit ultras, this time Napoli ones.

United are heavily linked with him!?!?! :spankingstick: Woodward & his cronies would have offered him £300k a week if they were still running the club. I really hope she pushes her luck and they tell them both to do one......... :dunno:

Motta has confirmed that the club wants to get rid of Chiesa, but I don't agree as I'm not sure they're going to bring in someone who is better.

I was looking forward to see how Chiesa did with a new manager too.

He was offered a one-year bridge renewal at the start of the summer on the same salary, but he wanted more money. Despite getting paid for a year when he was out injured and then having two below par seasons.

He didn't sign the renewal because he thought he would raise his value at the Euros which turned out to be a disaster for him and Italy.

Now he has an agreement with inter to move there on a free next season.

That's why he's frozen out of the project.

I don't know if that's true but it's the sort of move Marotta would make.

It's rumoured Enrico Chiesa is not happy with Fede's agent and is trying to mend things with the club.

I think i'm happy enough if Chiesa stays despite losing him for free next summer because whats the point in selling him for 15m. We don't know if the new wingers will make the impact in their first season, its not like Weah set the world alite in his first season. Plus Chiesa might become the player he was pre-injury, he was showing signs of it before the Euros and he was MOTM in Italy's first game against Albania, and when the dust settles and everyone kisses and makes up then he might come to his senses and sign the contract he was offered.

Or not.

He's undoubtedly talented but he needs to become more of a team player though, and not be running around like a headless chicken, i think some of the other players are a bit pissed off with him tbh and maybe that's contributing to the current situation.

Motta put his foot in it and knocked 10m off Chiesa's price mark. He needs to box clever in press conferences and not be reducing the crown jewels to cheap tack just because he doesn't like the cut of their jib.

I think there'll either be a resolution in the Chiesa situation or he'll do what Zaniolo did and have a short stint in Turkey before ending up back in Italy or elsewhere.

I like Chiesa, but from another club's point of view his contract is up in less than a year and he's had injury problems.

I haven't seen us linked with a backup striker yet, whenever Vlahovic is injured are we planning to score on a wing and a prayer?
Don't want to be leaving it until the last day, that's how we ended up paying crazy money for Kean.

I'd just keep Milik. Guy's done nothing wrong, doesn't cost a lot.

I'd keep him too, he's an intelligent player. Probably only half of the guys that are frozen out will be sold, or more likely loaned out with us still paying half of their salary, and it'll be the last few days of the market because they'll be the last choice of the team acquiring them and we'll hold no cards that late on.

I'd probably keep Milik too, it'll only be a cheap option to replace him so as he's under contract he might as well be used.

Kalulu hesitating for this long is a red flag. We need players who want to play for the club and are fully commited to the cause, not another guy with Rabiot's attitude. Move on and stop being a schmuck for a club, we're looking like fools again and its not even one of our own players this time. I would drop this pursuit silently and then if he does finally says yes tell him to take a hike. We need to look elsewhere immediately, time is running out.

Has anyone seen our third kit? I'm not one who gets over-excited about kits and what not but I love this one. I haven't bought a football top for about 18 years or so. I may have to invest in this one.

It looks nice, very old school, although I don't pay much attention to kits these days.
