Announcing the penalty minutes before the game, just shows that they don't even care about making it look obvious that they're trying to fuck us over.
Still the players have no excuse in my opinion. You should go onto the field with the thick ignorance to stick it to the figc. Fuck sake, Milik dangling his leg out like a ballerina for the pen, and Sandro, if ever there was evidence of a player playing for his contract and then putting on the slippers once he gets it. Shocking and disgraceful stuff.

The whole situation is a farce, points penalties applied, taken away and then reapplied. There'll inevitably be a further appeal leaving everyone with more uncertainty. It's not fair on anyone in the league to have a situation like this and it isn't fair that with the alleged offence requiring multiple teams to be involved for it to be committed that there is no investigation into anybody else.
The timing of it is shit just before kick off too in what I can only assume was a bad performance from the scoreline.
If they want to get rid of plusvalenza then change the accounting rules for Serie A teams instead of creating a fiasco like this.

I think even if the club are successful in the next appeal, Chine will just come back looking for a 9 point deduction. He'll keep doing it just to disrupt the squad into next season and also disrupt our transfer market because the club can't have a transfer strategy without knowing if they are in the CL next season or not. Chine doesn't care about justice, he's just getting off on this and wants to be famous for the one who 'got' Juve. What's pathetic is that it is possible for one individual to pursue a personal vendatta just because he supports a rival club, and be protected and abided by law to enable him to carry out this charade.Liam wrote: ↑22-05-23 22:27The whole situation is a farce, points penalties applied, taken away and then reapplied. It was today or maybe yesterday i read a headline on the FI website that we were deducted 10 points, so thought for a second that we were down -20, but they were just rehashing the story from Monday. They're constantly repeating the same story twice or three times now, sometimes days apart. It's like they're just using some sort of content farm, and going by how the articles are reading the farmers are using AI.
Anyway, hopefully the Whites and Blacks can get a result against the Reds and Blacks in game 37 of the campaign in the series of A standard.

I don't think the coach should be involved in hiring his next employer, especially since the coach should be replaced regardless. What's the reasoning for not appealing the 10 point penalty? To avoid it carrying over to next season. What if the next point penalty in June is 30 points and we get relegated because we weren't bothered to appeal the 10 points? Also it seems to me that the club is relying on Roma to beat Sevilla in order to use the iminent UEFA ban up because we sure as shit ain't beating Verona. So if Sevilla win the UEFA ban won't take effect until the following season, we won't be attracting any players to improve things. If Verona beat us it'll only take a 25 point penalty to relegate us, Chine would see that as attainable. This Calvo guy seems very weak.

I could be way wrong about this, but is the salary manoeuvre case a financial one and not a sporting case? In that case the penalty would be a fine, a hefty one at that, and not a points penalty? But I'm sure they'll find a way to dock us points anyway.Myles wrote: ↑29-05-23 09:19I don't think the coach should be involved in hiring his next employer, especially since the coach should be replaced regardless. I think the reasoning behind not appealing is the certainty that any appeal would fail. So the reasoning would be to take the hit now so it doesn't affect next season. Is it the right strategy? Time will tell.
I said at the very beginning of this nonsense that we shouldn't even bother appealing. We would always be playing on their terms. If I were President of Juve at the time, I would just have issued a statement saying the whole thing is a farce and that Juventus does not recognise the sentence nor the integrity of the institutions behind it, and dealt with whatever points deduction they gave us. After that I would have went after individuals with our own lawsuits seeking damages. Even if our cases were unsuccessful, at least those wankers would have been on the backfoot. And at least one individual would have been waking up with a horse's head. The way its panned out in the end they've made a mockery of us.

Yeah if we're not getting another points penalty in June then might as well take the hit on this season, try get conference spot either by Roma beating Sevilla or by us beating Udinese so that the UEFA ban gets used up next season instead of dragging on.
We all want the season to end asap but the players need to step up and give a shit in their last game so we don't end up outside of europe for two season's. If that's the attitude of the players that are leaving the club in the summer then don't play them on Sunday.
Edit: Allegri should ask the players who wants to definitely stay at the club, and then only play them on Sunday.
