We should have went all out and got Simone Inzaghi from Lazio before he joined Inter. If Motta gets sacked, who is there?
Tudor is available since last summer. Mancini i think is in the middle east, or maybe not anymore. Conte will be available in the summer.
Tudor is available but wants a proper contract, not a caretaker role till end of season. Mancini is available. Conte is on a 3 year contract at Napoli.
Sorry i meant De Laurentis will part ways with him

I can't see the players respecting their coach when they know the only reason he hasn't been sacked is because of financial rather than footballing reasons. How much is being saved by sacking him in May instead of now? Surely it would be better to appoint a new coach now so he can see what he currently has at his disposal to make a better transfer market.
I thankfully missed this game but even the brief highlights look dire. There's no intensity to the defending and the starting line up didn't look right with a few on the bench who should be starting.

I see talk of Mancini coming to Juve... I appreciate that a lot has happened since, but he used to talk a lot of sh!te about Juve in the past when he was coaching Inter. It doesn't sit well with me
The club obviously didn't believe in Mancini long term or want someone else more, like Conte. I wonder would he have quit anyway as soon as a big money offer from the middle-east came in.
Hopefully we get a new manager bounce to get top 4. Then we can re-evaluate Tudor's position.
Not sure about him favouring Vlahovic over Muani but if Vlahovic can score more regularly at least we can offload him easier in the summer. Even if Tudor stays beyond this season i wouldn't resign Vlahovic on his current salary demands, let him run down his last year under Tudor.
I have mixed feelings, but it seems something has broken behind the scenes with Motta. I was always prepared to be patient this season and didn't expect the Scudetto, but I did hope things would get better as the season went on, and I don't think that has happened.
In Motta's defence injuries haven't helped, particularly in defence with Bremer, and also Cabal and more recently Cambiaso's ongoing ankle issue which have exposed a lack of depth there. There's also big question marks over Giuntoli and some of the signings, although you could also argue that Motta has failed to get the most from them in some cases (Koopmeiners mainly).
I'm not convinced of Tudor and hope this is just a short term move to give the team a jolt for the remaining games.
That is a pity, I had high hopes for Motta, really thought he could have been the one to get us back to where we belong.
Hopefully, the players respond to Tudor and we get that 'new manager bounce'.
According to La Repubblica and Tuttosport, Motta stood on the sidelines of the training sessions last week and said nothing to the players. This annoyed the club directors as they were expecting him to be animated, and i guess kick a few water bottles. Sounds like they were at odds with the approach taken in the days after the Fiorentina game and that got him sacked in end.
I think the players and Motta all got off lightly, instead of sacking him i would've sent them all off to gulags, livestream it on ppv to recoup some of the wasted money on their salaries.
Good result and i liked that every player tried to take ownership and be leaders, bodes well if they continue with that attitude. Then the play will improve too.
Yildiz was very good but Vlahovic wasn't.
The 4th spot looks more achievable than a week ago.
I actually liked Vlahovic's performance, yes he didn't score but he had a good attitude and fought for everything despite being repeatedly fouled.
I think a few players looked like they had more belief. Koopmeiners was one, even though I wouldn't say his performance was a massive improvement, he looked more confident. Gonzalez too looked more of a threat on the right, but he's still in an unusual role for him.
The atmosphere seems much better in the stands and amongst the squad too and with a win now I feel more optimistic.
