Not the best and such poor penalties, Vlahovic in particular with a terrible run up. Hopefully Motta has learnt that Thuram should play ahead of Koopmeiners.

I hate all the penalties these days. The fucking stuttered runup bullshit.

I don't think its an either/or with Thuram and Koopmeiners. Thuram is developing into a top class player but Koopmeiners can play either alongside him or further forward. It might be next season before we see the real Koopmeiners but if he hits form he'll be better than any of the other midfielders except maybe Thuram.

Do you reckon Vlahovic and Yildiz missed their penalties on purpose?

Just kiddin'...sort of...

We'll be the laughing stock of the club world cup if this keeps up.

I hate the stuttered run ups, players are more likely to miss when doing it too.

Koopmeiners and Thuram are different players but right now we're getting very little of anything from Koopmeiners. Thuram plays deeper but is looking the more dangerous player going forward as well as what he offers defensively.

I'd play Locatelli, Thuram and then Yildiz in front of them on Monday, take Koopmeiners out of the firing line for a bit and let him rest physically and mentally.

Looks like Del Piero will be returning to the club soon. We should probably play him too.

All the while, I'm stuck in Scotland, walking the house with two hot water bottles.
That'll be me again tomorrow night.
Back to no central heating (oil boiler removed after oil leak under the floorboards) and no hot water (immersion cylinder removed after it burst about three weeks ago).
So now you know why i escaped to Lanzarote
Hope you got it all sorted Myles. Cheaply & easily.
I paid a cowboy about 250 euro to make a mess and oil spillage, paid some pro's 300 or 400 to fix it and remove everything.

The immersion i removed myself.
I'll probably get a new immersion tank next week. That'll be 265 i think.

I need all the plumbing and radiators replaced and a gas boiler installed so looking at about 10k for supplies i think. Not sure whether to do all the plumbing myself or pay somone 5 or 10k to do it. Plumbing is straight forward enough right?...

The quality of the stream on One Football is really poor tonight, with it constantly having little pauses and the sound and pictures are out of sync.

On the pitch their goalkeeper is playing very well.

I'm delighted for Koopmeiners, gets a lot of stick but never gives up and always puts 110% in.

I liked the performance, I think it was a good response to recent criticism and it could have been more if Verona's keeper didn't play so well.

I hope Koopmeiners can gain confidence from that. It was the right call to take him out of the team, especially with the pressure around the match, and it was good for him to have an impact off the bench.

The handball rule is a farce. 8 minutes from the end Locatelli's kick clearly hit the Verona player's arm yet the VAR check gave nothing?
The fact that the ball was obviously going into the clouds rather than the goal is neither here nor there. Even though it would've been a stupid penalty to give, that's the rule, the rule is stupid, but it's stupid for everyone right? Or not as it seems in this case.

Mine was poor too.

Forza Juve! If we win the Scudetto this season I will laugh for a year non stop.

It has improved in the month of February despite the two shocking results in the CL and Coppa. Time for the boys and Motta to make up for it.

Forza Juve!

Couldn't agree more. Stupid rule, but be consistent.

I'll be honest I wasn't sure if it hit arm or chest, maybe a bit of both? If it hit his arm first it should have been a penalty, but I guess they looked at their guidance which tells them where the arm starts and maybe it didn't hit the arm in the right place...

6 points off the top now, and a chance to overhaul Atalanta at the weekend, which didn't seem likely not that long ago. I think I might be laughing too.

Absolutely i agree 100% dropping him was the right call. I'm just happy he got a goal because despite his form i can never question his effort. Effort used to be a common trait, seems a rarity these days.

I sound like an old grumpy bastard....maybe i am! :ninja:

*Screaming, crying, throwing up* Flaming Nora ! :consoling:

Napoli seem determined to eff it all up so at this point I would accept Juve winning the league if it meant the more disgusting thing of I**** winning didn't happen.

I hate these handball penalties, it's ridiculous players get punished when it's clearly not deliberate.

We need to get Yildiz involved more. I think he's on the left but he's playing on the right just to get the ball. Mix it up and play down the left sometimes. Attitude is good tonight though.
