Montella has done a great job for Turkey especially when most wanted him sacked in March after a friendly defeat, 6-1, to Austria of all teams. A great change of formation last night and it worked a treat.

Seconded.
I think England will lose today as well, the Swiss are a good, well organised team with a goal threat. Everything England have lacked so far..........

Kane's always been overrated, I'm not at all surprised by how he's playing. He should be dropped, but he won't be.
England are poor but somehow in a semi final. The Dutch seem really good sometimes, but at other times average. They're better than England I feel but it'll probably be close.

Whilst I'm not Kane's biggest fan, in his defence he looks unfit. He's never been quick, but he can't even hold the ball up at the moment either, he just looks so easy to play against for defenders. If fully fit he should play of course, but he isn't right now.
He's really needed a rest more often over the years as he seemed to play every England game whether he was needed or not, i.e. did he really need to play that game against San Marino when he scored 4? Instead Southgate has created a situation where there's no even close to proven backup and he's scared to leave Kane out for any game. That's not benefitted England nor Kane, except for his goals record of course.
He was poor in the group stages of the last Euros and then turned it around later in the tournament, so that may happen again, but I wouldn't bet on it this time.
