How are you getting so many power cuts? Is there something going on in the area?

Blown fuse, problem in the underground cables.
It's all fixed now apart from the massive holes in the green & the foot path that they haven't bothered to fill in. 🙄

And judging by how long it takes our councils to fix pot holes, it will take awhile to fix these ones too, probably.

I've saw a few too. As long as they're around flowers I don't mind them. When there's one trapped in the house with me, I'm panicking all over the place. I swear bees are getting bigger.

We do. But I don't see to see a lot of them. Maybe Scotland is too cold. There is supposed to be Asian hornets invading South England, not sure how much of that is true. But they are scary looking things. They can GTFO.

There's a lot of wasps further south in the UK, not sure if they're the same as the American yellow jackets but they atleast look similar. I've never liked them, I remember them nesting in our garden when I was younger.

Agree that wasps are total b@stards, but (over time) I'm come to realise that bees are pretty cool as long as you don't bother them.

Ha, I do that too. In a cheery voice while going past my neighbour's lavender bushes. There's always loads of them.

Had a wasps nest in the roof above my bedroom once. They were so loud. The pest control guy muffed it and some of them got into the house. I got stung.

That sucks. I had a nest outside my backdoor once. I bought the wasp spray, waited until night when they would all be in the nest, then sprayed the crap out of them. It felt great

Now the ground wasps are a different breed entirely. Need the professionals to take care of those @sshats.

Back in the day my girlfriend at the time had a nest above her big window. I got her hairspray, a lighter, and torched them with extreme prejudice. haha
