Nah, sounds lovely to me. Hottest I have ever been in was 118F at Lake Mead in Nevada many years ago. And I was at the beach!

{honestly we didn't stay too long because we felt like rotisserie chicken }

BTTMUU

My work.

We were effected or affected, whichever one it is, by the Microsoft outage problem. Nothing was working. Nothing. But they wouldn't let us go home. I've literally just done a 10 hour shift doing nothing. Nothing. It was like, they were just keeping us there because they love torturing us.

I hate when dumbass senior management make calls like that.

Luckily we don't use Crowdstrike and MS Ireland wasn't affected so got to have my Friday beers. I work in cybersecurity so probably would've been a very long weekend had we been affected. Always happens on a Friday.

That made me chuckle.

My work bought our lunches on Saturday, for any inconvenience. Nice of them, innit.

I was in Sainsbury's last night. Not only do they have the Christmas chocolates and biscuits out, the mince pies have arrived. I mean it's the middle of September. SMH.
