5 - 1 to Milan and the commentator says maybe their recent troubles are behind them. Were we watching the same game ?
The first half was like watching one of those OAP walking football teams. No urgency at all, no pace, no imagination. They gave the look of men with one foot already on the beach. No wonder the Curva Sud have been boycotting.
The San Siro was very quiet but unlike COVID times there was no piped in cheering.
Nothing changed til half time when Leao was bought on.
Cagliari were definitely not playing like a team in relegation trouble & barely threatened. Poor from both sides. Pulisic had another fine game.
As it's Mother's Day in Italy tomorrow the players had their Mother's surnames on the back of their shirts. Nice touch I thought.
Their Mums weren't cross but some will definitely have been disappointed.

Salernitana stick it to us again. We lost a 2 goal lead in the last 5 minutes. I know we had nothing to play for and there was no jeopardy involved but still.
At least we don't have to play them next season. So glad this season is over. We may have finished second but it feels like utter failure.
Goodbye to Pioli. The last two seasons have been stinkers but a lot of that wasn't really your fault. Thank you for the happiness you gave me & the glory you brought back to us.
