Tom Baker was the only Doctor Who I ever watched, By father and my daughter preferred one of the newer guys, Matthew Smith? Not sure his name and can't bother to look it up.lol

I prefer Connery as Bond but my favorite Bond movie is Live And Let Die with Moore.

I know everyone says Connery is their fave but there's a lot of secret Rog fans out there, me included. Live & Let Die is pretty much my fave Bond film. I've loved it since I was a kid.

I remember my parents taking me to see Love and Let Die at the drive in when I was a little kid. Did you have drive in's there?

Drive in's? Wtf? That's Back to the Future right there.

A Drive In started nearby during Covid lockdowns which makes sense. Not around now though.

 Yep, drive in's When I was a kid my parents went a lot and I got to see all kinds of movies. Sitting in the car in my pajamas, with pillows and blankets, eating snacks. Awesome times

As a teenager, going to drive in with your friends to meet girls, sneaking in people in the trunk of the car with some adult beverages we weren't old enough to actually have.....lol :coolreddancer:

You can't beat David Suchet for a bit of Poirot.
Never really took to him.... :dunno:
For a long time Suchet was the only actor I saw play Poirot. When I picture him that's who I see. Even when I see Suchet, I'm like 'look it's Poirot!'

I'm one of those people whose favourite Bond is Moore. :ninja:
His Bond films tend to be my favourite too.
Connery gave Bond charisma and sex appeal and Moore gave Bond personality and humour.
I also loved Pierce Bronson. I thought he was a good mixture of the two.

I went to see the new Ghostbuster's movie Thursday. It was good. Very nostalgic.

Now back to viewing something with culture!

I bought the A24 streaming 4K magnificance of Stop Making Sense, Talking Heads legendary 1980s concert movie. It must have taken ages to HD it but it was well worth the effort because it looks and sounds fantastic. :cooler: :coolreddancer:

Agreed. I liked Timothy Dalton as well. He wasn't served well with the films but he was decent.
He was also great in Hot Fuzz & Penny Dreadful. Not to mention as Mr Pricklepants in Toy Story 3. Epic.

At last I've seen Series 3 of Lupin. Perhaps not the full on rush of the first 2 parts but still very enjoyable.

Escape at Dannemora - true life, prison escape drama.

I'm not keen on the lead actor. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm watching Korean serial killer drama Beyond Evil. Lots of suspense. I've got 13 eps to go and it's leaving Netflix on the 14th. Will I make it ?
