Anyone seen 'Detroit:?: It looks ace but is it overhyped?

I dunno if I fancy it. Looks like a tough watch. That alone is not a reason I usually avoid watching a film but everything is so depressing these days I just can't take a lot of misery at the moment.

I saw the Lego Batman Movie this weekend. It's decent but I feel the five star reviews are misleading.

Agreed Verno, definitely a tough watch but that's not put me off tbh, I still fancy it.

I dunno about Detroit either, its like I want to see it but I don't, maybe I'll wait until Lupo sees it first.

Well its that time of year where I go into Hibernation to watch GOT.

You've got it in one, I want to see it and I don't want to see it. Like I didn't want to see 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days, 12 Years A Slave, 13 Minutes, Macbeth, Steve Jobs, Room, The Patience Stone, True Detective (S1&2), Son of Saul, The Theory of Everything, Manchester By The Sea, Moonlight, Loving and GOT since series 1. episode 9 but they have all been great, heart-wrenching, entertaining or invaluable.

I feel the same about most of those things too. I tried watching The Theory Of Everything but it just made me sad and 12 years a slave but then that just made me angry. Manchester By The Sea is something I've been wanting to see for awhile. Room was good. I had read the book before so I had known what to expect.

That is was. I thought the little boy was brilliant.

Have you seen any GOT7 yet?

I've watched 5 so I've only got 2 to go. I so don't want it to end.

Diane Keaton leaves me cold. Not an actress I like in any way shape or form. I merely tolerate her in the Godfather films.

The woman who plays his wife has a face you want to slap. She's married to Robert F Kennedy Jr, the one time you feel sorry for a Kennedy.

Narcos was recommended to me last weekend but it's already three seasons in, is it worth the catch up?

It does look good. It's on my tv shows to watch list.

Oz got recommended to me because I like J.K Simmons and Christopher Meloni but it looks a tad harrowing. :? Especially the role of Simmons. :o

Narcos is good, I just finished the second series last week. I wouldn't say it's a binge watch candidate but I have enjoyed it so far.

Oz is brill. I used to watch it when it was on Channel 4 back in the day. It got a bit silly in parts of the later seasons but the first 2 or 3 are aces.

Now winters finally setting in, I got round to streaming 'Train To Busan,' a Korean Zombie film which is ace & well worth a watch if that genre floats your boat. 8/10. :cooldancer: :biggrindancing:

It is good. Brutal as usual. The Koreans don't muck around.

I didn't take you for a K-Pop fan, Dels.
