Has anyone seen Oz?

Its on Amazon Prime. But I've heard that it can be quite harrowing at times. I'm in two minds about it.
It's on Paramount! I've never saw it, back in the day, but one of my friends watched it and said it's quite shocking but very good.

Infernal Affairs is available to buy at last on Apple TV, great news. The bad news is it's £13.99. The Departed is the English language version which won an Oscar but is not a patch on the original Hong Kong classic.

It's the type of show I wouldn't have thought twice about watching when I drank, but in sobriety, I'm less brave. :ninja:
I get what you mean. I find myself actively avoiding stuff. I still haven't watched Squid Game or Chernobyl even though everyone says they are great.

:hugs: for Sober Dels

Lupo, do you get the whole trilogy for £13.99 or just the first one ?
Agree that the US version isn't a patch on the HK version.
The US one is too long and melodramatic. The rat running along the bannister at the end. 🙄
Plus I love Tony Leung.

I'm not much of a drinker either but I don't see myself not drinking at all.

It's safe to say there was no restraint in Cocaine Bear, either in the bear's drug consumption or the carnage that ensued. Quite funny in parts but Matthew Rhys' cameo at the start stole it for me. A steady 6/10.

John Wick 4. Time for this franchise to go beddy byes I think.

Cocaine Bear is on my list. 😬

My sister is coming over next weekend and I know she's going to make me watch something with Jason Statham in it. Probably The Beekeeper. The trailer is terrible. 😭

Your sister likes Jason Stathem too? lol Mine as well I don't think her husband cares though....haha

I loved the first 3 John Wick movies, but both my brother in law and my father said the 4th one was crap.

The director is planning on doing of a reboot of Highlander. Now, I love Highlander, both the first movie and the TV series. Even have done some martial arts training with Adrian Paul from the series. But I am skeptical on a reboot.

Reboots are never better than the originals. Also, it's lazy. Have new ideas instead of rehashing old ideas.

I have never watched Jason Statham in anything. He seems to have a cult-like following, those who do like him, like, really like him.

It's become a tradition to watch a rubbish film when she's over. Jason Statham is very reliable in this aspect.

They should probably leave Highlander alone. Most reboots are pants.
What was Adrian Paul like ? A boy I fancied liked the the series so I watched some of it so I could talk to him about it & impress him with my knowledge.

It would have worked on me! :coolreddancer:

Adrian is a super nice guy. Good instructor and appreciates the Highlander fandom. I trained with him on 4 seperate occasions and even talked some soccer with him. He is a fan of Charlton Athletic.

Knows a lot about sword technique, especially in relation to putting it on film. Also knows a few styles of Kung Fu like I have studied.

I've just read they want to do a remake of American Psycho. I cannot stress this enough but that angers me. :swearingwords:
