Gomorrah S5 is now on Amazon. I'm both excited and apprehensive about watching it.
Oh. My. Days. I had forgotten how addictive this show is. 3 episodes in and THINGS have happened. Everybody watch it so we can talk about it.

I have just started season 4 of The Shield but I may start GS5 also, but do I need to watch L'Immortal first? If so I may watch that over the weekend.

I really wanted to see that new Elvis movie but the reviews have not been kind.

L'Immortal runs parallel to series 4. Certain things happen in the first couple of eps of S5 that concern this so I think it would be a good idea so you know what happens in the run up. Also the stuff with Ciro as a kid is interesting. That will also tie in to events later in S5.
I only have 2 episodes left. 😭

I have no interest at all in the Elvis film. It just looks pants.

The Staircase. I wasn't so sure of watching it because, I cannot stress this enough, I cannot stand Colin Firth, watching something with him in it is a major turn off for me. But after reading the case I decided to give it ago, its really good, just had to forget I was watching Colin Firth on the screen.

I'm only two episodes into Severance on Apple TV+ but it's got me hooked & I'm intrigued to see where it goes? :dunno:

Any particular reason or just one of those irrational hatreds ?

I'd put it down to the irrational kind but I also think he's not a very good actor, I find him wooden.

I finished Severance on Apple TV+ last night & it really was great! There must be a second series after that final episode. Compulsive viewing after a slow first episode.

Now onto Gomorrah. Verno's made it clear, I need to watch the film as well so I'll buy it later today...... The programme is so bloody addictive that I'm scared to watch it to the end because they'll be no more episodes. :dunno:

I put off watching the last two episodes for more than a week because I just couldn't face the end. This is a recognised syndrome (recognised by Dels & me) that people suffer from. The series end blues can be serious. Don't suffer in silence.

It's true. Some people *moi*, still can't watch the ending of a show after 20 years.😭

I'll be starting Gomorrah S5 this week along with S5 of The Shield.

The worst case of SEB I've ever heard of. One for The Lancet I reckon. 🤪

Reading that post the end theme just popped into my head.

Caught my Mum humming the end credits rap the other day.

It had a great soundtrack. That's what I love about The Shield too is the music, I've discovered quite a few songs, especially latin artists who we don't really get to hear over here.
