Sol Bamba, former Leicester City defender, aged 39.

He's probably better known for his spell at Cardiff under Neil Warnock but he was a popular player and a big character in 18 months at Leicester, scoring 40 seconds into his debut. He was signed by Sven Goran Eriksson too.

I worked at Easter Road during Bamba's time there. He always had a smile for everyone. Took the time to talk to fans, sign autographs for the kids. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy. This is devastating news. 39 is no age.

Italia 90 is before my time but Toto Schillaci is a legendary name because of his performances in that tournament. His story shows football at it's best.

Man that really sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Italia 90 is still at the top of my world cup lists, even if Italia went out in that infamous semifinal in Naples. Toto gave us a jolt of excitement that summer, along with Baggio. Really hits hard

Even got my sister to watch that World Cup and she still remembers him and Baggio.

Actually have real tears of his passing. And at the same age I am as well.
