Man, seeing Olivia Newton John in picture still makes me sad. I used to love her when I was a wee lad.

Yeh, when you see pictures like that it really brings it home.....

Have been reading about how our generation is aware of way more 'famous' people than previous generations, due to the explosion of television, film and radio programmes when we grew up. The next generation will probably be even worse!

David Jolicoeur, aka Trugoy The Dove of De La Soul, aged 54.

I remember when Three Feet High & Rising appeared and quickly crossed over to the Pop charts. So many familiar samples and loads I couldn't identify! A work of genius.

De La Soul were the first rap act I was introduced to, haven't listened to them since the 90s, but I was just reading that their music is going to be released onto streaming services, and I made a note to listen when they do. Then I hear this news. So sad.

Also, R.I.P. to the people who died in the Syrian / Turkish earthquake.

Paul O'Grady, 67.

I watched some clips of The Big Breakfast earlier and thought to myself how different times were then. A drag Queen on breakfast TV. The Yanks would shit themselves.

I dunno, the way this Conservative Gov is going, I see us like the Yanks soon. I think there would be legit outrage if there was a drag queen presenting on breakfast tv.

Great as an owner of both AC Milan & Monza but a terrible politician tbh.

Man I remember when he came in to Milan and built them into quite the team. Calcio was so good back then. Milan, Inter, Juve, Maradona at Napoli, young Baggio with Fiorentina, Roma, etc....

Loved that guy. He was great as Yossarian in Catch 22.

He was also great in later life as Michael Douglas' agent in The Kominsky Method on Netflix. A great actor with perfect comic timing.

I joined a free trial of Audible to listen to one of his audio books. :D

He was a decent bloke from all the comments & a great footballer. I know he had a period at Samp but never realised he was at Atalanta as well.
