Have been reading about how our generation is aware of way more 'famous' people than previous generations, due to the explosion of television, film and radio programmes when we grew up. The next generation will probably be even worse!

I remember when Three Feet High & Rising appeared and quickly crossed over to the Pop charts. So many familiar samples and loads I couldn't identify! A work of genius.

De La Soul were the first rap act I was introduced to, haven't listened to them since the 90s, but I was just reading that their music is going to be released onto streaming services, and I made a note to listen when they do. Then I hear this news. So sad.

I dunno, the way this Conservative Gov is going, I see us like the Yanks soon. I think there would be legit outrage if there was a drag queen presenting on breakfast tv.
