Yep....
I missed the first 20mins, but from there on it looked like we were always chasing the game against a very well organised Bologna side....
We could really do with sneaking an extra couple of points from the re-arranged Udinese game on Thursday, before we go into 3 massive games that will define the league season....

We really have to get a win in the 20+ minutes left this evening just to get things back on track. It appears, according to FI anyway, that DDR can select anyone but those subbed off in the first game so hopefully an attacking line up?

Yep, such a strange situation and one that the squad will have almost zero experience of!Lupo Pazzesco wrote: ↑25-04-24 06:52We really have to get a win in the 20+ minutes left this evening just to get things back on track. Do you go all out to gain two points, while risking losing one??

Agreed, the second half was better but we were lucky to get a point.

Didn’t see the match. But getting 3 points away from home against a Napoli side with Kvara and Osimen fit and firing was always going to be a big ask.
At least it takes Napoli out of the equation for 5th place.

As well as not losing much, we play better football which is always great.
Now for Thursday!

Next up in Serie A - Juventus (H) and Atalanta (A), safe to say the results from those two games will have a significant bearing on our final finishing place....
As for Thursday, Leverkusen rescued their unbeaten record very late on at the weekend (again).....A draw in the first leg wouldn't be a bad result for Roma, but with a huge and vocal crowd behind us, and hopefully Lukaku back in the starting line-up, you have to think we have a chance of taking their record?

Some team has to take BL's unbeaten record and with Smalling & big Rom back, I feel there's no reason why it can't be Roma. A full strength starting eleven and a passionate sold out home crowd gives us a good chance of getting the home win. We'll need a bit of luck and to score first tbh. A little help from the football Gods wouldn't go amiss.
