We desperately need some goals & a good performance tonight as it's been a very uninspiring watch recently to say the least!

The long wait for the Monday evening game might actually be of use this time in terms of recovery after the trip to Finland. I didn't catch the match on Thursday but it was job done and Tammy scored at last.
More of the same this week please!

It was hard fought but we won and we're back into the top 4!

We finally got some shots on target 2nd half and the match turned in our favour with the two penalties. Job done and now for the Derby on Sunday.

Yep. Mourinho’s multi-sub tactic worked for once!
Zaniolo’s a strange one isn’t he. Mostly rotten in Serie A, but often a game changer in Europe.
Looking forward to the derby. They’ve been in good form, so should be a real challenge.
Hopefully Tammy and Belotti can find some form in front of goal. They’re due a bit of luck….

It could be a very long evening if we don't turn up at Sassuolo!

The mid season break will allow the manager & squad time to regroup as the players, rightly, look knackered at the moment. The last two Serie A games have been disappointing so let's try for three points tomorrow please.
PS It's started......The Jose blame game!

Jeez, we're a tough watch at the moment......Jose's been great in getting the fans behind the team, but we've played some horrible football when we've been without Dybala.....
Have seen a video of Karsdorp's cameo appearance midweek, and you can see why Mourinho was annoyed with him - https://twitter.com/burnaculer/status/1 ... ebJ40IPy1Q
But then again Karsdorp was one of the players who improved most under Jose last year, then this year he's been in and out of the team, and against Lazio I was amazed he was taken off early, as I thought he was one of our best options of getting back into the game. So in many ways you can see why he was p*ssed off.......

Pissed off but completely unprofessional & lacking integrity. I know JM likes a scapegoat or two to blame but the team in current form can't have any passengers & Karsdorp hasn't really hit the heights required this season plus the attitude for last week's game was poor.
Great finish by Matic yesterday to rescue a point!

Welcome back!
If we really are after Depay then I hope he's matured greatly since his time at United?
All the talent and scores a goal or two as well so if it's a low fee then a no brainer tbh with our lack of goals recently. Worth the risk? I'd say yes.

Welcome back Duncan
Talking of goals, I noticed we eventually got the Solbakken deal done. He obviously did well against us previously and a look at his other highlights suggest he could be a useful addition....pacy, direct, physically strong, looks dangerous attacking from wide areas and can create goals as well as score them. Reminds me of Shomurodov before we signed him..... Let's hope he can handle the step up better than Eldor.....

Solbakken officially confirmed as a Roma player & training with the squad is a boost ahead of the second half of the season. Hopefully he's recovered from his various injuries & gets his shooting boots on asap.
The next three games (Bologna, Milan & Fiorentina) should give us a good idea where we stand. I'm actually quite positive at the moment, probably too much booze!

Three points but a dreadful display according to the FI live blog. I don't think there's much point watching the Tivo recording now.
Lazio lost!

Not much to say, apart from we look a lot worse when Dybala's off the pitch and we're hard to beat when we score first.....you're welcome
