Most of them were youngsters showing their appreciation of Dybala's decision to stay, nothing creepy in that! That pales in comparison to some of the various clubs Ultras over the years as well.

Sounds like a good deal. I thought we’d have to pay more than that for them to take him off our hands….PSV have sent Roma an offer in the region of €9m for Zalewski, according to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio. The 22-year-old is now thinking about his best options.
(a bit harsh I know….but oh boy he’s a frustrating player to watch)

Yep, we were terrible for the whole of the 1st 45mins and everything that could go wrong went wrong in the 2nd half.....
Looking at DDR's comments below, don't think we'll see a 'holding' midfield two of Paredes and Cristante fielded again anytime soon....

De Rossi hinted at a possible change of the starting XI after this disappointing defeat.

We're still busy in the marketplace.
Saudi Arabia right back Saud Abdulhamid has signed for around €2.5m and a €25m deal for Austrian central defender Kevin Danso is almost done.
Talk about playing three at the back to accommodate all 3 starting CBs, but reading that Danso's right footed, so he could potentially oust Mancini as first choice....
Though after the weekend, a bit worried that we aren't scouting more mobile, out and out defensive midfielders....

More Olympics tournament watching related scouting activity. Another player who looked very good for the French team, which means he'll probably choose Milan over Roma....

We've only ever heard positive things about Cristante's worth to the squad, because of his work ethic and ability to take on board instructions from various coaches etc....so not encouraging for his future to hear he's rowing with DDR....
Though we might struggle to ship him out at this late stage of the window.....

The Abraham Saelemaekers swap deal looks like it has legs, we definitely need a wide attacking to play on the left, so not totally against the deal if we get the reported €10m as well...

Though the deal for Kone could be a goer.....

Harsh but true!
Prospective central defenders signing for Roma proved very problematic during the last few days due to problems at their medicals!
The one positive is that the funds available were spent on Kone as we desperately needed another midfielder after the sad exit of Bove yesterday.
Sunday at Juventus is looking ominous especially with our record at the new stadium during the last few years.

Absolutely buzzing that we managed to get the Manu Koné deal over the line last night. I watched him a few times during the Olympics and he was a stand out for France. A proper box to box midfielder, who nowadays perhaps plays a bit deeper than his highlight reel video implies. Looks exactly the type of player we need.Lupo Pazzesco wrote: ↑31-08-24 04:06Harsh but true!

Reports that we tried to go in again with another offer for centre half Bade last night, but he or Sevilla wouldn't budge on the fee. Sounds like we'll need to rely on out of contract transfers, but there are a few experienced players in that category about!

Koné will be a great addition to the first team. I think we've bought well all things considered especially after a frugal few seasons/ decades.
A few goals wouldn't go amiss tomorrow to kickstart the season........
