New Serie A president Ezio Simonelli briefly discussed Roma’s new stadium project.
In his first interview on the matter, Simonelli teased a new date for the stadium’s opening
During the latest FIGC assembly, Simonelli told reporters, “Last night we had a meeting with the Roma management and mayor Gualtieri and president Infantino to discuss the new stadium.”
“We were also delighted to learn that Roma will be playing in the new stadium in 2028,” he specified.
Roma resume archeological excavations in Pietralata
A new update has emerged on the issue regarding the new Roma stadium that will be built in the Pietralata area.
The project, despite its many obstacles, continues to be of pivotal importance to the Giallorossi, in addition to the results on the field.
