I've just realised we have a 5.45pm KO today. I thought it clashed with Man Utd at 8pm so happy in a way but with Roma's away form and Utd's general bag of shite performances, it could be a long 4+ hours. :flooredlaughing:

Don't worry, this should be Man Utd's easiest win of the season tonight.

Well. It's been a long 2 hours so far..... :wideeyed:

To be fair Roma played pretty well and really didn't deserve to lose that game. The irony was that taking off Dovbyk helped our attack, but on the other hand we could really have done with him on the pitch given the number of crosses we put into the box in the 2nd half!!!

As well as we played second half, we didn't really have a cutting edge upfront for the whole 90 mins and the longer it was scoreless, the more likely they were to knick it on the break. BOLLOX.

Never in doubt! :dancer:

Obviously it helped that Frankfurt had already qualified, but thought we looked comfortable throughout. :coolreddancer:

Just seen that we got Porto in the knock-out round, could have been better but at least the 2nd leg is at home...

Also.... :coffeecomputer:
The winner will meet Lazio or Athletic Club in the Round of 16, so there is already excitement about a potential derby della Capitale in March.

Can you imagine a Derby in the Europa league?? It would be crazy

But just beat Porto first. The last team we played in the CL

Zalewski off on loan to Inter....

Sounds like we only had to pay them €600,000 to take him....oh, they paid us?! :cooler:

A goal at the end to get the point! Felt more like a win.

Juan scrub Jesus getting the assist to Spinazzola for the goal. You can't make that crap up. Oh, and young Nicolo Z getting the assist on the Inter goal tonight. Like I said, you can' make this crap up

I only saw the 2nd half but very much enjoyed the fact that despite not creating many clear cut chances, we never looked like giving up trying to get the equaliser. :coolreddancer:

Especially impressive getting the goal when we did, as Napoli have become very good at holding onto narrow leads this season.

More good news (obviously to be filed under the we'll believe it when we see it category...) :dunno:
New Serie A president Ezio Simonelli briefly discussed Roma’s new stadium project.

In his first interview on the matter, Simonelli teased a new date for the stadium’s opening

During the latest FIGC assembly, Simonelli told reporters, “Last night we had a meeting with the Roma management and mayor Gualtieri and president Infantino to discuss the new stadium.”

“We were also delighted to learn that Roma will be playing in the new stadium in 2028,” he specified.
