We have to keep up the great performance against Nazio over the next month and try to climb the table as we're currently in mid-table obscurity.
Still buzzing!

Sounds like we're going to have a busy January....
Re-assuring to have Ranieri involved in the transfer decision making, as he's shown already he can identify what we need to stabilise the team.

Haha. Indeed.
Complying with FFP previously mostly involved us selling off promising young talent and replacing them with high salary free transfers....
With the signings of Dovbyk, Koné, Soulé it at least appears that we're going in a different direction!

Of course the best signing we could make would be to renew Mile's contract.
Encouraging to hear comments like this from him.

Roma goalkeeper Mile Svilar spoke to Sky Sport ahead of the upcoming match with Bologna.
“My contract doesn’t expire for a long time and I think there’s still time to talk and we’ll meet. I’m at Roma and I’m very happy. I like everything about being here. Mile Svilar is at Roma and we hope for a long time.”

First half was what you guys would call a "damp squib". Second half was exciting stuff. Nice to dig deep to get the equaliser on the pk at the very end. Still didn't think our defense wasn't great on goals that were conceded. Also didn't think Hummels was that good today and Ranieri had to take him off.

Yeah, didn't think we played badly, but in the end we were a bit fortunate to even get a draw. Kudos to big Artem for stepping up to take the penalty when 3 of our regular penalty takers were off the pitch!
That's two goals we've lost in recent weeks when a ball across the defence has found an attacker completely free at the back post beyond the 3rd centre half....the 3/5 at the back does seem to have worked in terms of freeing up Dybala and getting the best out of Saelemaekers, but it definitely leaves us badly exposed in counter attacks when the wingbacks don't track back...

Hopefully. We're linked with Ajax's right back, who as far as I can tell has played mostly in a back 4. So surely that indicates we're at least considering playing a back 4 at some point??

I'll donate gladly as an upgrade on Celik can't happen too soon imho.
I'll miss tonight's game as busy but three points is a must.

I'll take 7 out of 9 points! Claudio Ranieri doing a great job and we're a team again.
