It has dragged. I think it should have been cut to 16 or what is the point of it. Oh yeah, I know, It's so the big teams don't go out too early.

I barely watch anymore except the wrap around show we have here in the USA/ Goes from game to game. I used to watch a lot of the big teams play but besides Celtic and giving some attention to the Italian teams it just drags now.

Big decision to give that penalty against Atalanta. I take it the ref sees it as a professional foul, he might be right, why have your arm so high unless its a sneaky professional foul or your losing the race to the ball. The Brugge player made a meal of it though.

The ref actually was alright until that ridiculous decision and I agree with the sentiments of Gasperini's post match comments.......Football ain't what it used to be, it's far worse. The atmosphere though was sensational.

Meanwhile, over in Rotterdam, it's chucking down a la the CWC in 1991 but what a mistake by Maignan.   Great backing from the home support as well unfortunately.

Not a bad performance from the Bhoys. It would have been nice to get at least a draw, but I am a realist. Could even 1 of the Bhoys even start for Bayern?

More disjointed rubbish from the team with no identity.

Wow that Brugge penalty was an awful decision.

I watched the Celtic / Bayern match, I think Celtic played well but Bayern were mostly in control until Celtic pulled one back.

If Celtic can win in Munich, look for pigs in the sky. I love the Bhoys but it's a tall ask for them to win at Bayern.

Was surprised by Milan's result last night. I really thought they would have gone through against Feyenoord.

I don't think Juve's or Milan's cause was helped by some bizarre substitutions by their respective managers. I'm still scratching my head at the farce they caused!

7-1. I guess it's feast or famine with Arsenal. Save some goals for the league eh lads.

That's a tough penalty decision on Atleti. Did the guy touch it with the left foot when slipping? A retake seems a fairer choice in those cases going forward but if he kicked it twice then that's that.

Glad to see Liverpoop out.

Watching extra time is useless. Can they just do one extra time of 20 minutes or just go straight to pk's.
