Virgin have taken TNT Sports (as a free add on) from their packages so at the next renewal, it will be an additional cost. The Yanks have spoiled the company in so many ways so it was time to leave, well almost.

Cheers Lupo, will consider that option, although I'm fairly wedded to the ability to "record" content and watch later on Virgin TV, and don't have a smart TV (I know?!
), so would need to stream Amazon through my Apple TV box, which involves at least two TV controllers....which is one too many in my book....
Really need to phone up Virgin and pretend I'm going to leave to see if I can get a better deal.....but that would involve me having to research competitor prices to get my story straight...![]()

It's basically a well made android box, it's very intuitive and seemless.
It's made by Amazon so you can sign in with your Amazon account.
You can also put most android apps on it, so you can play Netflix, Disney+, 4OD, Virgin TV app, youtube and other iplayers on it to play on your TV.
If you use a soundbar then you don't need the remote that has the volume buttons but if you've only got one remote then you probably don't have a soundbar, so if you don't have a soundbar or want to watch using headphones then get the one with the volume buttons.
I've six remotes
Edit: i suppose if you have an amazon prime account you could just buy the firestick off themselves.
