I used to watch The Blues Brothers a lot as a kid, I loved the music. Then one day, Mother informed me that John Belushi was dead and how he died, I was about 11. Never watched it since.
😭 Just say no, kids.

It was great watching the Blues Brothers at the theater when it came out. I was a kid, and since I live about 45 minutes from Chicago, it was cool seeing a lot of the places they filmed at that I had been to myself.

That's cool, to have an iconic movie filmed near you.

The jail break scene in Johnny Depp's movie "Public Enemies" was filmed in the town I live in now. I remember them closing down the area for a few weeks. Johnny came out everyday and signed autographs for the fans.

Bugsy Malone was filmed in the Huntley & Palmer biscuit factory in town. That's my cinematic claim to fame.

That's so cool. Not usually a fan of musicals, but have always loved Bugsy Malone after watching it every time it came on TV as a kid. :thumbsupbunny:

Sounds like they filmed the bar scenes in the building after it closed? Looks like a very interesting piece of architecture! https://www.readingmuseum.org.uk/online ... rs-factory

I loved Bugsy Malone as a kid and still do tbh. :bigsmilebunny:

Anyway back to new headphone tunes..........I'm loving Pugilist's Banoffee Pies Beats 04, kinda like a mellower Portishead without the mournful vocals. Earworm special.

In Hip-Hop Tierra Whack's World Wide Whack album is ace as is Luton's BXKS' One Time LP. :coolreddancer:

Sounds good, will need to check that out.

On your 2nd point, no offence Lupo but it's quite funny hearing the southern half of the UK losing their sh*t with the cold, crappy weather in June right now, we're well used to it up here in Scotland! :whistling:
