You did. I asked if you knew them. You said you did not. It was the answer I expected, but was still somewhat disappointed you didn't know them.😔

That post reminds me of the bit in The Goonies
where Chunk says that Michael Jackson didn't come to his house to use the bathroom but his sister did !

Expletives galore from the home fans today at Kenilworth Road. One character seemed to have his own personal microphone, it was that clear on Sky's coverage!

A couple of tracks that have become serious ear worms recently.....

The Smile - The Smoke (Dennis Bovell RMX) - https://youtu.be/kRLGSYq7Vck?feature=shared
(So, Jonny Greenwood and Them Yorke had a side project, who knew?! Either way, this dub version of their track is excellent. :fastheadbanging: )

and

Four Set - Loved - https://youtu.be/9W8Ei3ZUsEA?feature=shared
(Chilled out, breakbeat ambient bliss, from a master of the genre 8-) :nodding: )

Ashamed to say I wasn't fully aware of his output until now. Although I will have listened to a lot of the music he's been involved in over the years! :ninja:

Suppose that comes from growing up in an era where you couldn't just google an artist/producer and find out everything about them right after hearing their track....

Exactly, it was called crate digging back in the day. The search for music was much more fun then! :headphones:

Any good ? Some seriously old school stuff going on there. Didn't know either band was still going. I can't say they were ever really my thing.

I like Priest and Saxon but not over the top about them. Decent albums though. You get what you expect

Yep.

Does anyone remember the Frog Chorus by Paul McCartney ? My sister had it on cassette when she was a nipper. Just can't get it out of my head. :dunno:

I watched The Blues Brothers last night. I forgot what a cracking soundtrack it has. I have the CD somewhere.

I used to watch The Blues Brothers a lot as a kid, I loved the music. Then one day, Mother informed me that John Belushi was dead and how he died, I was about 11. Never watched it since.
