What in the name is Gabba?

I'm thinking of getting the New Foo Fighters album but I haven't bought one of their's since their 1999 album but I've liked what I've heard so far.

I saw the Brit Award nominees. I have no clue who half of them are. Loyle Carner and Kate Tempest anyone? And Dave is in the Best Breakthrough, just Dave, Dave could be anyone.

The Brits are a load of irrelevant bullshit and they have been for years. They are snobs who would rather give an award to some obscure band or artist instead of a pop group so they can claim that they are cool and credible. There are other award shows for those people FFS.

I listen to a lot of chart stuff on the radio at night when I can't sleep (Radio in your TV, who would have thought ? Now where is my flying car & dinner in a pill ? ).
I listened to a bit of Kate Bush the other day. Running Up That Hill is one of my fave songs, I also love the Placebo version.
Also some Megadeth, a bit of The Prodigy, Tom Petty (R.I.P) and a smidge of Luther Vandross.
Over the last couple of days I haven't been able to get Sam Smith's Writing's On the Wall out of my head. Much better than that Skyfall dirge if you ask me.

So true. Its just that there was a time when I would know everyone. Even maybe I would have a few of the albums nominated. It makes me feel out of the loop on recent music, obviously I do know Ed Sheeran but I just can't get into him, I think its quite sad he's become our biggest musical export these days, I miss the days with Blur and Oasis fighting it out. If this was a Kpop award show I'd know everyone.

Ed Sheeran was on the Strictly final. I know this because I was MADE to watch it by my sister. But we all agreed that we didn't really get his appeal. He was muted. Precious moments in a TWO AND A HALF HOUR PROGRAMME.

Jungkook is fine. I think there was some sort of misunderstanding with a rival group's fans. I think a tweet from China was interpreted wrong. Then madness ensued.

I can't watch Strictly and I won't do it for anyone.

I listened to Master of Puppets last night too. Not the album but the song. I like Metallica in small doses. I probably wouldn't listen to an album of theirs in one go. Mind you I barely listen to albums as a whole these days.
