I'll be doing a lot of php coding in the next week or so, that can be tested on the offline mirror copy of the forum so might have some improvements to features some stage in January hopefully.
I'll target the way images are embeded in posts, and embedding videos from youtube when just the link to the video is posted, so at least aesthetically those elements will look better. At present if you post a youtube link it is only just the link, not an embeded video.

The frontend design of the forum is wrecking my head, making it look better in desktop and mobile screens is just not my thing, i'm crap at design i think, i've done a few and spent time coding them and then binned them, just doing my head in!
I'm reading a lot on it though so hopefully at some stage in 2019 when the forum is rendered on a mobile phone it will look at least acceptable and seem logical. If i can make the navigation of the forum logical it will hopefully be more intuitive. That's the train of thought anyway.

Just for transparency, i wouldn't normally do this, but i emailed both Lupo and Ian just to let them know i hope they are okay and we've missed their presence and hope they come back to have a bit of banter again.
Nobody has to necessarily get along with any one, it's the same as offline life, some you get on with, some not. You fallout with people or get to know new people. Or we just have temporary spats and put them behind us.
I think since the year 2000 (or late 1998/early 1999) i've pretty much had a spat with everyone here, but i respect you all.
It would be great if those two lads came back.

I have had some good spats in the past. Mostly with Sir George and his flunky Giovanni Lavafiume. I think it was.

I haven't heard back from Lupo yet.

Just remember though everyone here is entitled to disappear (sort of speak) so sometimes that's what happens. What's banter to some is highly insulting to others.

I'm not sure Dave would return to be honest. His leaving, along with Curva Fiesole and Mezz was over a disagreement that probably all four of us still feel our take on it was correct from our own perspective. I'm definitely open to any of them coming back. I'll email Dave and let you know.
