Tomori should be in the England squad. I'm going off the England team again, although that isn't the reason.

It's a few things and some of it is because of my own club biases if I'm honest. I feel James Maddison has been treated badly by Southgate for example as his form has been outstanding but Southgate doesn't seem interested. He attended a lockdown party and there was a bit of nothing story about him going out after he'd pulled out of a squad a couple of years ago, but I don't think those should be held against him, especially when compared to the behaviour of some players who are regularly called up. Going back further I never felt Jamie Vardy got a fair run for England with Kane having to play every minute regardless of form or fitness.

I also see Leicester players go into the England setup and become unsettled afterwards, and also feel that even though it is better under Southgate that players from certain clubs will be preferred.

I also don't like some of the players, which is perhaps a bit petty admittedly. Then there's the usual reasons such as the media hype which irritates me, especially as I feel quite a few in the England squad are overhyped.

Despite that I don't actually mind Southgate. He's not perfect but he's got plenty right and got more out of the England squad than any manager I can remember.

Oh My God.

Italy did not just get beaten by North Macedonia.

What The Feck.

I Cannot.

Scenes.

Thats no world cup twice in a row for Italy. They should save face by saying they lost on purpose as their way of boycotting Qatar, lol.
Is this the greatest upset/shock of all time?

WTF???????????????????

Can't beat N. Macedonia? In Palermo? Please never again must I see Immobile leading this line. This is a complete failure.

I'm shocked. It has to be the end of Immobile internationally, but he wasn't the only one in the team lacking in the final third.

The World Cup is always weaker and less of a spectacle without Italy, it's a shame.

Immobile may get a lot of stick for this but Jorginho did miss two or three penalties.

Oh and Gareth Bale, you enigmatic beautiful bastard. What a free kick.

Is correct but not a major surprise as Italia's front three were crap. Again! Scoring has been a problem for a while and it's cost them dear unfortunately. I'm gutted as it not a proper WC without them especially with no Ireland as well.

I switched back and forth between the two, I think its safe to say Scotland and Italy are both a bit shite.

Hopefully, Ukraine can go on to beat Wales.

Ukraine played very well, I expected more from Scotland though.

To be fair, many of us up here expected more too. Confidence levels were high. Scotland thrives on being the underdog, we really should have seen the writing on the wall when people put us favourites. I personally thought Ukraine would win though.

Bah humbug to Wales. Poor Ukraine.
On the selfish side a derby in a World Cup is not ideal.
