It's a busy summer of International tournaments, I think we should do seperate threads, nearer the time, for the Euros & the Copa America.

Hopefully England, Scotland & Italia get out of the groups! :fastheadbanging:

OMG that was a brutal ending to the Scotland - Poland game.....we really are the masters at shooting ourselves in the foot! :wideeyed:

We actually played pretty well, with a switch to a back 4 working well for Gilmour, McGinn and McTominay in midfield especially, but deficiencies up front (and of course the two brain freezes at the back) ultimately did for us.

Had to laugh that it was Zelewski who did for us, he's a 'frustrating' watch at times for Roma, so the fact he won both penalties and scored the 2nd one himself, was kind of inevitable after I had been less than complimentary about him to friends and family in advance of the game.... A hint of Patrik Schick (from the halfway line) about the situation....

I didn't see the Ireland-England game, but it was always going to be a damage limitation job for us.

Wowzers. Just seen the goal. Great build up play from the back, a classy assist from Tonali and as the commentator said, definitely a "volley sumptuous" by Dimarco! :fastheadbanging:

England looked better than at the Euros, putting more players in their natural positions seemed to work well. The team had more energy and attacking threat.

That's a great result for Italy too.

I was pondering getting myself a non-league team to keep the weekend interesting. These international breaks ain't it.

They suck. I had my fill with the Euro's, Copa, and Olympics.
