Top 25 goals from the Channel 4 era of Serie A:
https://www.theguardian.com/football/th ... all-italia
Difficult to argue with the number one in lots of ways. Even though it was against Juve I've always admired that goal. Pirlo to Baggio, and probably the best first touch ever seen on a football pitch.

Samp were well deserved winners against Milan & seemed to have a manager who does things the right way.

Some wonderful goals here, I remember watching a few of them live on Sunday afternoons as well.

Apologies for the double post, I should really have scanned a bit further up the thread....
That take by Cassano for his goal though!

Nearly but not quite the result you wanted.
In other news Sampdoria were awful at Bologna. I just hope they are when Roma play them in the re-arranged game though I doubt it somehow as they been exceptional at home.

Since they put all their energy into beating Juve I expect Sampdoria not to win again this season. #Notbitter
Serie A seems to be all the talk this season for being the most competitive and exciting out of the major leagues. Its nice to hear people talk/write about Serie A the way they used to, not just "oh, Juve are winning it again, on to La Liga". Hopefully, Gattuso can somehow get Milan in the mix, Milan are still huge internationally, once a day, I still see someone wearing a Milan hat or scarf or top, etc. A strong Milan helps Serie A.
Its weird this has all come about when Italy haven't qualified for the world cup. The lord giveth, the lord taketh away.
