Cagliari definitely fighting to the end of each match, I hope they stay up for Ranieri's sake!

Bologna are really doing the business in Serie A & they're beating rivals for the European/ CL qualification in the recents weeks so they have to be applauded/ admired. I definitely think that they will get in the top 6 at the end of the season!

I put the curse on them as they've dropped away the last few games.Lupo Pazzesco wrote: ↑26-12-23 09:31Bologna are really doing the business in Serie A & they're beating rivals for the European/ CL qualification in the recents weeks so they have to be applauded/ admired. Don't mean to bring up negativity on another club (unless it's Inter) but i see Lazio had three players sent off. Is it still a rule that if four players are sent off the game is abandoned and awarded 3-0 to the other team. Or did i just make that up in my head?

I think it's 5 players that have to be sent off, as teams have to have atleast 7 players on the field. The only game I can remember where a game has been abandoned like this is Sheffield United v West Brom many years ago, although 2 of the players went off injured with all subs used after there'd been 3 red cards for Sheffield United.

I thought Lazio's attitude the other night was bad throughout, the first red card was clearly correct and the other 2 were in stoppage time when their players lost their heads. Sometimes teams need to take responsibility for their own behaviour instead of blaming others.

Lecce are safe and for that, I am very pleased. Serie A needs representation from all over the peninsular so I hope Palermo make it back as well, a bit of Sicilian spice and their iconic shirt would add some fun to the league.
