Does seem like they are just flexing their muscles at the PL because they know they have more money.

Classic skulduggery. What a bunch of bastards. Stop trying to deflect from your numerous crimes and get going to the Northern Premier League where you belong. Will only take you 8 seasons to get back.

For true punishment, maybe send them to Scotland. If 12pm on a cold Sunday, on that Kilmarnock plastic pitch won't teach them, nothing will.

There seriously needs to be an investigation into Chelsea.

Ted has a large ego & after last season, more transfer spending seems to be the way to massage it. Absolute pisstake! :spankingstick: :angryhandswaving: :tongueout:

Chelsea sum up what is wrong with the game, buying players they don't need so other teams don't have them, and getting around the financial rules in increasingly ridiculous ways that a club with less cash flow could never do or get away with.

I do want to point out that I had that view before they took Maresca and Dewsbury-Hall too, although the latter is an example of them taking a player they didn't need. Atleast it's likely got Leicester off the hook for a 2nd PSR charge though, which in the absence of a hotel or women's team that's worth anything, is the only way the club could raise money.

Seconded. Thumbing their noses at every other club that has to sell players to be within the rules. Rage inducing.

Some of the memes on Twitter have been funny. There's one of Freddy Mercury at Live Aid with "Maresca addressing the Chelsea team".

I don't want to seem like a bitter Gooner but what's going on there just doesn't seem right. And why do players want to even go there? My mind boggles.

Anyway, Saka's goal yesterday was a thing of beauty.🥹

Leicester City were actually better than I expected last night and earned a good point. My expectations remain low and I think the points deduction will be too much to recover from when it arrives, but atleast the team has some fight in it.

Agree about Saka's goal obv. I still think we will struggle without a striker.

The thing with Chelsea is weird. Why would a player go there ? How must the Academy players feel ?
They have signed 12 players in this window. Bonkers.

Spurs defending plus the GK for the Arse winner was Sunday League-esque!

Also, their manager stating he always wins something in his second season.......Does F*** ALL count?

What's the story with Chiesa at Liverpool? Is he injured or just not earned his way into the matchday team yet? I think i seen his name as a late substitute in two or three games.
