Fingers crossed that Leicester get the right manager & survive the mayhem at the bottom!

I'm not optimistic. Lose tomorrow and we're 5 points behind Bournemouth and facing Man City away in the next fixture. Tomorrow's game is one of the club's biggest league fixtures since promotion and the team's form is awful. There's no sign of a new manager (who with any credibility would want it?) and it's clear that the club's mistakes over the past 2 years in numerous ways will hinder the next few years regardless of what happens in the rest of this season.

Not sure as because the owners left it so late the choices are the ones no one else wants at this level. It looks like it's going to be Jesse Marsch. He got a reaction from Leeds last season and kept them up and if he can get back to the earlier parts of his career he might do well in the Championship next season. I'm just relieve it's not Gerrard or Lampard.

There would have been a time I would have been elated with a point at Anfield but this feels like a loss, so deflated.
Considering the job that Emery has done with Villa since Gerrard left, no, you don't want him. Gerrard is a decent pundit, maybe he should still to that.Liam wrote: ↑08-04-23 18:16Not sure as because the owners left it so late the choices are the ones no one else wants at this level. You're right it's easy to get in a negative loop when the reality is there are a number of bad teams in the division. 8 defeats out of 9 and a complacent attitude throughout the club make me think Leicester will be one of the 3 to go down though. The team was in a worse position in 2015 but that was a newly promoted team which also had a lot more spirit about it. All the spirit and life has been sucked out of the players this time around and other teams seem to have more fight about them.Lupo Pazzesco wrote: ↑10-04-23 12:21I know you've seen more of Leicester this season than myself but it's never over.....etc Look at Palace after Fergie's mate came out of retirement.

Apparently it was all agreed on Saturday, he attended the Bournemouth game, spoke to his coaches afterwards and then decided he didn't want it saying the team will need a different kind of manager in the event of relegation.
Dean Smith has now been appointed. I don't think he's great but there's not a lot to choose from. Atleast he wants the job and has a bit of enthusiasm which is one thing he already has over Rodgers who was miserable all season.
