Anyone believe the very strong rumours that Ciddy already know their fate regarding the 115 charges? It's not good news.

Ooh, hadn't heard that until now. Would explain the total collapse in recent weeks.....Lupo Pazzesco wrote: ↑16-12-24 07:59Anyone believe the very strong rumours that Ciddy already know their fate regarding the 115 charges? It's not good news.![]()

Sadly they come to Leicester next week and so their bad run will end.
There is so much wrong at Leicester City I don't know where to begin. Firstly it's a badly run club with a useless Director of Football that wouldn't be able to get that position at any other Football League club. Connected to that is too many transfers in recent years that don't make much sense. The team is obviously a lot weaker than it was even 2 years ago thanks to this incompetence.
It was no surprise Maresca went, he saw those running the club for what they are and realised he can do better. Steve Cooper was out of his depth and rightly sacked. Van Nistelrooy might not keep us up but it was right to make a change to give the team a chance, because Cooper definitely was not doing it (performances were far worse than results under Cooper).
In a way though whilst the club's structure is as it is I'm not sure it matters too much who the manager is as in the long term the club's trajectory is downwards without change. Since 2022-23 they've changed manager's, kicked out all of the coaching staff, kicked out a lot of players, but those at board level have remained in position.
And to top it all off I've just spent an afternoon watching Danny Ward attempt to keep goal. It doesn't help that Mads Hermansen is a rare success story of recent years and has had a great season, but the drop off in ability between the two is as large as you will see between two senior keepers at the same club. Ward was backup for years and bizarrely made number one two years and I believe that change turned something like a 12th placed finish into relegation.
And why is he still at the club? Because the idiot Director of Football gave him a huge new contract at one point and no one else in their right mind will sign him.

That was more like it yesterday by United, especially the going over of "I can pass but have no idea how to defend" £76M contract offered TTA. The Scousers were that het up, they booed him repeatedly which certainly didn't help him in any way.
I had a bet for a Utd/ Roma win double, which I rarely do as I only usually bet on the Cheltenham Gold Cup each year. I just had the feeling they'd both win after all the bullshit in the various media in the prior week. Maguire owes me a large Bushmills' Black Bush for that miss though as I would have been ready to party this weekend with the winnings.

Nice to see the away section full of proper fans as well!
