I'm gutted to get so far and then go out, especially with no Europe next season and there still being 5 more rather pointless league games to struggle through with a tired and likely demotivated squad.
These are playoffs, so I assume the winner goes into the EL and the loser ECL?
Didn't even know they had changed the format, lol.
The winners go into the Europa League last 16 and the losers are out of Europe completely. They had this format last season too as Leicester had to play the equivalent Conference League round.

Boring trip for the regular away day United fans! I've been twice myself, great city but shit fans. If more than 1500 turn up in Manchester then I'll be very surprised.
Juve playing different opponents is...........different.............
Decent enough draw for Juve, plus one of Barca and ManU will be knocked out.
Motivation might be the toughest challenge.
Aye, normally I'd think we'd beat Nantes quite comfortably but these days it does depend on which Juve turns up. Hopefully Chiesa will be fully fit, I think that helps. Also, with the Italian players not going to the WC they maybe fresher than a lot of the players who play for the countries that qualified.

I genuinely have no recollection of this format last year. Old age doesn't come alone.

Not just there, I don't know if you saw any of the Real Madrid and Celtic CL game last week, about 300 Celtic fans out sung stadium full of madrid fans. Quite shameful imo.

It might be a season of two seasons, teams in good form now won't want the WC break and could be derailed. The WC break should benefit Juve for player fitness hopefully, just hope the youngsters are given a fair craic when all the uninspiring so called established players return. If we're going to lose i'd rather watch the youngsters playing with their less shackled approach.

to the Celtic fans.
Only the Basque country fans travel in any great numbers besides Ath. M and make a noise. I remember Barcelona bringing 500/ 600 in 1998 to OT. A large proportion of RM fans at OT have been British based supporters club as well.
