Arsenal were poor so only three out of four English finalists............... Wembley a non starter now for the EL final, thank God!
Roma got some pride back last night, four at the back & they played very well all things considered. De Gea was United's MOTM which tell the true story of the match. A deserved victory.
The Darboe story is truly amazing & he looks as though he is a real talent. Hopefully things progress for him under the new manager & he becomes a first team regular in the next few years.

From what Liam said it sounds like an even shittier Europa League. I don't know if the two competitions are linked or not.

My knowledge of the Conference league is gleaned from playing Football Manager, and it's relationship with the Europa League is similar to the Europa League's relationship with the Champions League.
So teams that fail to quality for the Europa League will fall into the Conference League qualifying or group stage depending on where they go out. 3rd placed teams in the EL groups will go into the Conference League knockout stage too.
It's possible teams can play in all 3 tournaments in a season as they could fail in Champions League qualifying, fail in Europa League qualifying, and then fall into the Conference League. In fact on my FM save I think I once saw the same tie happen in all 3 in one season!
The good thing is more league champions should get group stage European football, but as I said elsewhere this tournament wouldn't be needed had Uefa not decided to start allowing so many non champions from the leading leagues into the Champions League.
