Well done Shamrock Rovers, a great display against the mighty Milan! It's no disgrace to only lose 2-0.

Instead of commentary on Celtic games they should have Benny Hill music playing.

Sad but true....sad but true

At least Roma won. And Napoli winning was nice too.

No fans kind of sucks. How about we just say F this, and it's survival of the fittest. Everything's open

They're letting some fans in in England next week, but not in Leicester. I'm a bit baffled as to why they've chosen now to start letting fans in when the virus seems as bad as ever here, even though it does seem to be trending downwards again.

The government decided it, the clubs have wanted fans for ages.

The strange thing is that they've allowed gatherings in some settings, but not in football stadiums until now. I've not always understood what the difference is.

Milan vs Red Star Belgrade
Roma vs Braga
Napoli vs Granada

Arsenal vs Benfica
Man Utd vs Real Sociedad
Spurs vs Wolfsberger
Leicester vs Slavia

Rangers vs Royal Antwerp

British and Italian teams draw. Sociedad and Utd the tie of the round there i think.

I'm happy with Slavia Prague, although I wanted Red Star so we could get revenge for 20 years ago, when not only did Red Star win against Leicester (deservedly so tbf), but their fans were racist thugs.

They're on some run, I'm hoping United avoid them to be honest.

Pogba was amazing for the 45 mins he played last & won the tie with a wonderful finish. Chapeau!

Wonderful to see Spurs collapse as well....Sorry, I just can't help myself! :heyheyhey:

Arsenal got them. It was an unsavoury match last night, hopefully Arsenal get through this tie.

Spurs had the most Spursy of nights last night.

I'd expect Arsenal to beat Slavia. They were well organised and well coached, but I'd say they caught Leicester at the right time with injuries and fixtures piling up and they just had more energy on the night.

Maybe not! :biggrindancing:

Roma played well in Amsterdam and it was great to see Pau Lopez have a blinder! His penalty save turned the game & Ibanez's winner was a stunner. :coolreddancer: :biggrindancing: :footballwaving:

United should get through after the first leg but will Arsenal join them? The first goal will be vital in this week's game & I'm hoping Villareal at least make a tie of it. Anything could happen!?!?! :dunno:

I'm strangely optimistic and confident that Arsenal will come through on Thursday. Where I get that optimism and confidence from, I don't know.
