He is a good all around forward, and after all that crap he went through with the stalker it would be really nice to see him get a call. What other Italy striker is scoring for the Azzurri? er, NONE!
Like you said Dels, at least have him on the bench to bring him in for 25-30 minutes, when, and I mean, when Immobile, Zaza, Belotti, etc.... don't score

It would be nice after everything he went through and I don't think it would do any harm at all, Italy are not exactly stacked with strikers right now.

If we can beat Gibraltar at home we should finish above them.

Not a bad draw for the 2 teams I am interested in.

Italia must qualify for the Euro's. Not a grinder of a draw but still Greece and B and H are tough nuts to crack. Call up Quags!

Yeah, Duncan, Italy have a group that they should, on paper, win but with Italy these days, don't hold your breath.
Decent for Scotland, playoffs at least, you would think.

I've just turned on Sky Sports and Scotland are losing 3-0 to a team who finished bottom of their WC qualifying group! :laughingpointing: :flooredlaughing: :cooldancer: Aceness. :cooldancer:

Yes. That really was as bad as it looked

Another addition to the Scotland hall of shame. If there's enough room that is.

Even Jim White on Sky Sports news can barely keep a straight face.

I'm not one to advocate refunds for fans because losing is part of sport and if clubs did it once fans would be asking all the time, probably. But as a gesture of good will the SFA could at least reimburse the fans for their travel expenses.
Many people would have stopped at Moscow on their way to Kazakhstan, and Moscow is only half way, imagine that, going all the way to Moscow but that's only half the journey, to go to a football game.
And then when you get there you are subjected to worst performance in the history of the team. And it wasn't that they just played badly, it was the manner of the defeat. Those players had no passion, none of them looked like they cared, they didn't even have the decency to looked ashamed. It was a "oh well" and the shrug of the shoulders. They could have pretended it hurt for the fans, but they may as well went up and slapped the fans in the face.
The fans deserved so much better, they are loyal and passionate to the team, when this team doesn't deserve it.
Personally, if Scotland where playing in my garden I'd close the curtains. But those ones that went all the way over there deserve a little back from the SFA.

Well said Dels. The players & Manager should pay for the the travel costs of the fans after that debacle.

Whilst England are playing tonight, I will be watching the Rugby League. It will much more exciting & entertaining, of that I'm sure.

Good point Dels!

On another note, why the F is Immobile slated to start for Italia again? He has proven he can't be a consistent scorer at the international level. Start freakin Quags, the leading scorer in Serie A!!!

England played well and I did find it entertaining. Certainly a big contrast to a lot of games at Wembley in recent years.
