Fantastic win, but they do make the nerves get edgy don't they! Having Pellegrini back really helps the team stay in control of the game a bit more. The Dybala goal was a fantastic team move , with Bove actually getting up front a bit on the attack. Like you said, moving up on the CL spots but an extremely rough patch of the schedule coming up

I didn't catch the game but from JM's post-match comments, it's clear that we were shite!

Sassuolo usually riase their game when the bigger teams are in town so I too am not confident of a win. It could be another tough watch if the handbrake is on!

I had a really bad feeling after their fluke of an opener but that was a great fightback to win!
Did you notice that there were more Romanisti in the ground than home fans?

Yep, the flares were wild from the Romanisti when we scored.
I saw one older fella sat behind the Roma bench in full team regalia, shouting at JM during the second half. Hopefully words of encouragement?!?! I'm sure the players & management appreciated the immense turnout of fans, it reminded me of watching United away from home in the mid to late eighties with fans all over the ground.

Sunday should be a great atmosphere at another sold out Olympico and hopefully the faithful are rewarded with three points.
Whatever our misgivings with the style of football, the Romanisti pack out the stadium week after week & the enthusiasm to back the team plus manager hasn't wavered, even when we had our early season struggles. There's no comparison with Lazio and a half full stadium!

Good win which I missed (again) but I will catch the Amazon highlights programme later. Hopefully next week's draw is kind!

So, we appear to have reached the stage where we'd all rather ignore the predictably bad performances than rant about them.....that probably says a lot about the state of our relationship with Joseball.....

https://football-italia.net/roma-first- ... statement/
Fair play to the club for coming out early against the reanimated corpse of the Super League“Following today’s judgement delivered by the ECJ on the ESL case, AS Roma reiterates its position in committing to the values and future of European football,” the Giallorossi said in an official statement.
“The club in no way endorses any so-called Super League project that would present an unacceptable attack on the importance of the national leagues and the foundations of European football.
“AS Roma believes that European football’s future well-being can only be secured through clubs working together through ECA in strong partnership and collaboration with UEFA and FIFA.”
