It could be worse, you could be Leicester...
True. Still rooting for you.
Thanks Verno.

The 2014-15 team got out of a bigger hole but they had so much commitment, togetherness and spirit, things the current team has none of despite being more talented. So there is still a chance but I just don't see it happening. It could be all over on Monday night.

Edit: I was rooting for Arsenal in the league, there's so much wrong with Man City.

Everything crossed for Leicester.

Man City stink to high heaven. Hopefully they will get what is coming to them but they probably won't. They will wriggle out of it.

C'mon Leicester pull one out of the hat & beat the Barcodes tonight! Fingers crossed, they can pull it off!

An early Leicester goal would help the cause & put pressure on the other two.

FIngers crossed & good luck!

I'm hoping the fact that Everton have the safe position currently puts them under more pressure. Ourselves and Leeds have nothing to lose in terms of starting position so hopefully the players can be a bit more relaxed than Everton's.

I fear a scenario though where neither team wins which would be the worst way to go down.

Its been a long time since relegation has been so interesting. Would rather see Leeds or Everton go down, preferably Leeds. So good luck Liam!

Everton are one of those teams that no matter how much they get things wrong always seem to pull out of trouble. They've been doing it since the 90's and where their fellow 90's strugglers like Coventry and Southampton eventually ran out of luck and dropped, they clung on and they're still doing it now.

I'm hoping this year is their time.

Thoroughly enjoyed Luton going up yesterday. They were my local team for a long time so i have a soft spot for them. They were very harshly treated 15 years ago, i remember clearly that depressing 30 point penalty and the years in the conference. I suspect they won't last long, but i hope they manage to find a way to not be thrashed in every game next year

Thanks Both.

The whole club is a mess, incompetent people running it, keeping Rodgers for far too long and a group of players where half of them are looking to leave at the same time. It's going to be a huge rebuild in the Championship with no money with which to do it and the same people inevitably running things. I'm not optimistic and honestly feel another relegation is more likely then promotion. The club's already made one mistake by arranging for the team to play a friendly in Hong Kong just days before the Championship season starts.

If a few of the players on big wages leave this might open up money for transfers, which I think they will. You'll always have the parachute payments. I yhink if you can get the right transfers and I would keep your coach. I think you'll be back up in the next season or two.

The parachute payments have already been spent, that's part of the problem. Throw in a large wage bill, the amount of changes needed which includes half a new squad, a new manager and coaching staff and there's a lot to do, and the people who need to do all of this such as the DoF don't have a track record of competence. It doesn't add up to success unfortunately.

No fans really blame Dean Smith for any of this and I feel he did what he could with a demotivated, unfit, unconfident squad half of whom had their eye on their next club. I don't really want him permanently though and again a lot of fans feel that way.

Parachute payments already spent? Bloody hell.

Who would you want permanently?
